What Is SilverSneakers®?

SilverSneakers® is a health and fitness program designed for adults ages 65 and older, typically included at no additional

cost with many Medicare Advantage and select Medicare Supplement insurance plans.

The program helps older adults stay active, improve strength and balance, and maintain

independence through safe, accessible fitness options.

What Does SilverSneakers Include?

Eligible members may receive:

• Access to participating fitness facilities, including Apex Total Family Fitness

• Age-appropriate fitness classes focused on strength, balance, mobility, and cardio

• Self-guided workouts using gym equipment

• Online and at-home workouts through the SilverSneakers platform

Program availability may vary based on individual insurance plans.

How Does SilverSneakers Work at Apex?

1. Confirm Eligibility
   Check your eligibility through your insurance provider or by visiting the SilverSneakers website.

2. Get Your SilverSneakers ID
   Eligible members will receive a SilverSneakers ID number.

3. Visit Apex Total Family Fitness
   Bring your SilverSneakers ID and a photo ID to our front desk.

4. Check In & Get Started
   Once verified, you can begin using participating areas of the facility and approved programs.

Who Is Eligible?

Eligibility depends on your Medicare Advantage or Supplement plan, not just age.
Not all plans include SilverSneakers, so checking ahead is recommended.

Is There a Cost?
